Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud (eSAC)

Analytics with no extra cost

What is eSAC?

Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud (eSAC) is a version of the SAP Analytics Cloud platform dedicated to SAP Sales Cloud v2 and SAP Service Cloud v2, as well as the older SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) solutions. It enables interactive analytics and reporting on CRM data in real time. Enabling eSAC within C4C does not conflict with standard C4C analytics – both analytics options function in parallel.

It is worth noting that in the case of an SAP Sales Cloud (C4C) license, activating eSAC within the CRM license is free – the administrator can enable embedded SAC features without additional charges. SAP Sales Cloud v2 and SAP Service Cloud v2 use SAC Embedded natively.

Who is eSAC best suited for?

Companies using SAP C4C

Ideal for organizations that want to extend standard CRM analytics without extra cost. Reports and KPIs are accessible within the familiar C4C environment.

Organizations evaluating analytics before full SAC deployment

eSAC allows testing advanced reporting capabilities and assessing real analytical needs before investing in the full SAP Analytics Cloud.

Sales and service teams in SAP Sales Cloud v2 / SAP Service Cloud v2

With native embedded analytics, teams have fast access to ready dashboards and reports that support day-to-day decision making.

Deploying eSAC is often a stepping stone toward a later full SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation.

Key benefits of using eSAC

ok

No additional licensing costs
eSAC is available free of charge under SAP C4C, Sales Cloud v2, and Service Cloud v2 licenses. This allows leveraging rich analytics without investing in a separate tool.

ok

Rich visualization capabilities
Most common chart types and tables are available, with support for rankings, sorting, adding comments, styling, and tabs.

ok

Filtering and data analysis
Entire reports, individual pages, and contextual filters can be applied to better tailor report views and accelerate insight extraction.

ok

Advanced calculations and KPIs
eSAC supports calculated measures and dimensions, enabling custom metrics and reports based also on custom fields.

ok

Report export and sharing
Completed reports can be exported to Excel, PDF, or PowerPoint, facilitating sharing of results with the team.

ok

Familiar SAP interface
Work occurs within the same environment — no need to switch to separate analytics tools.

While eSAC is ideal for quick internal analyses, for very large, heterogeneous datasets or for advanced analytics requiring scripting, deployment of the full SAP Analytics Cloud may become necessary.
