Project Overview

The project began with a significant organisational change – the formal separation of one of Apollogic clients into two independent entities. Beyond legal and business aspects, this decision created the need to clean up data in the SAP system. The central challenge was to precisely remove data associated with a specific organisational unit while maintaining operational continuity and ensuring that all other system information remained consistent and reliable.

Given the importance of the data and its direct influence on reporting and business processes, the project required careful planning and execution. The data cleansing process was split into defined stages that included scoping and analysis, testing in a secure environment, and the final removal of data backed by formal approvals.

The result was not only compliance with formal organisational requirements resulting from the corporate split but also a stable and well-organised SAP environment suited to the company future growth.
