Apollogic at the most awaited IT event in 2014!

CRM Team Leader at Apollogic, Andrzej Brodniewicz took part in one of the biggest and most awaited IT events in Europe in 2014. SAP TechEd && d-code conference is undoubtedly a feast for those connected with SAP technologies. Each year this event gathers programmers and IT experts from all around the world. This time, organizers decided that for few days Berlin will be the capital of technology world. What are our first glance impressions?

Why is it worth to be there? We asked none other than Andrzej: “Main consumers of the fair are specialists linked with SAP world. Those are mainly technical people, even the name of the event shows that they may benefit the most in terms of the knowledge given by speakers and moderators of workshops. The conference is an unrepeatable occasion to find out which trends are leading the market and in which fields SAP is developing. Participating is not only about gaining knowledge though, but also about networking. During workshops you have a chance to personally meet people responsible for technologies, compare their point of view and exchange experiences. Such events promote knowledge diffusion between participants.”  

Our CRM team colleague had a chance to participate in sessions concerning SAPUI5 technology and SAP Fiori. Where does interest in such fields come from? „After 20 years SAP decided to invest in User Expierience (UX), which so far was its biggest weakness. By consequently realizing strategy focused on customer’s needs company is now being awarded for interesting design. I wanted to find out, how SAP implements its new approach and compare it to what we do at Apollogic.”

According to Andrzej, more and more interesting topics being developed by SAP is usage of: mentioned before User Experience (UX), HANA implementation or Internet of Things (IoT). This last field excited our participant particularly.
