New semester at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań!
In the winter semester 2015/2016, at the UAM Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, the Apollogic team taught a course on Internet of Things in Business Applications. We are happy to announce the continuation of these classes at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań! The classes will be conducted by the Apollogic team also in the summer semester.
The course pertains a recently very popular subject of the Internet of Things, and approaches the subject from a very pragmatic business angle. Among other exhibits the teachers use Beacons, or IoT devices that can communicate via mobile devices, most often used for internal navigation in shopping malls. Technologies which are studied are JavaScript and HTML5. Classes are held every Wednesday at 5.15 pm, at the UAM Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
The cooperation takes place as part of ApoAcademy, or Apollogic educational program. It assumes working jointly with academic centres in the form of a variety of activities – from conducting classes at universities, through lectures at conferences, and lectures at technology departments.
