Year 2015 in Apollogic – sky is the limit!

The last year has been exceptionally intense – a lot did happen!  First of all, we have expanded our range of new services, adding new ones. This entailed the need to open new departments and hire new staff.  As you can see below – there is much more of us now 🙂 Thanks to the cooperation and the invaluable contribution of our team have achieved excellent results which have been recognized in various fields.  December is the time of summaries – join us in reviewing the most important events in our company, edition 2015!

We have expanded our offer

This year, our offer has been extended by such services as SAP SRM, SAP Fiori (analytical and Factsheets) and SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Moreover, we have opened a new team: Big Data. We have begun to develop its own products, such as Aposentinel environment and Apsello – an application linking a standard CRM role with sales automation functions.  We have also joined a  crowdfounding  The Things Network initiative, and using LoraWan, technology we are going to build an open Internet of Things network in Poznań.

We have been appreciated!

Year 2015 has proved to be very fruitful in terms of awards.  We have been included in the rankings of Gazele Biznesu and Forbes Diamonds. Both lists are based on the company financial performance and take into account the increase in its value over time.  We have also been granted  Business Cheetahs, and Effective Trustworthy Company awards. On top of that, our 360⁰ Customer View, application received the first prize in the HCP Startup Challenge.  The task was to build a solution based on  SAP HANA Cloud Platform technology.

A lot has happened…

At Apollogic, we like to spend time together – we are a very tight team.  Therefore, in the past year there were two integrating events. We had a great time! We participated in the sushi making course and we had a party in  a hotel in Komorniki.  In addition, we participated in trade fairs: Where IT Works in Stuttgart, and in the Warsaw Retail Connect.

Our team keeps growing!

Due to the rapid development and growing organizational structure, we have hired a lot of new people.  The BI Department was joined by: Bartosz Rybicki, Justyna Hołubowicz, Przemysław Święcicki, Roman Wesołowski i Adam Maciaszek, Innovation: Adam Mydlarz, Krzysztof Góralski, Laszlo Kajan, Łukasz Konieczny, Łukasz Milczarek i Maciej Rygielski. The CRM team was strengthened by Karol Kuc and Lucjan Łajło, SRM by Jakub Laszkiewicz and Sebastian Maćkowiak, ERP by Olga Zubielik. The marketing team was joined by Sylwia Zabłocka.

We like to share knowledge

In 2015, our publications have appeared in such magazines as  „Programista”, „IT Wizz” or „Marketer+” . The authors of industry specific articles are:  Szymon Mydlarz, Aleksandra Jankowska, Piotr Wesołowski, and Marcin Siudziński. Our colleagues wrote not only about solutions associated with the SAP environment, but also touched upon such topics as the Internet of Things, e-commerce, and marketing.  In addition, we were able to successfully run – at the Adam Mickiewicz University –  a semester long course on “The Internet of Things in Business Applications”, which will definitely see its continuation.  We have also given lectures during  Retail Connect (Marcin Siudziński) and IoT Poland (Monika Hoffmann and Szymon Mydlarz). Our contribution to organizations such as mKlaster, wKlaster (Tomasz Radomski) and  Wielkopolskie Forum Inteligentnych Specjalizacji arose from the need to swap specialist knowledge.

As you can see, 2015 has passed under the motto of hard work, which has not gone unnoticed. We hope that 2016 will be full of even more spectacular success.  We want to continue developing our flagship products, participate in interesting projects, and gain experience in various areas related to new technologies.
