Apollogic, Poznan University of Medical Sciences and Poznan Marshal’s Office among the European Reference Sites
We proudly announce that the consortium consisting of Poznan University of Medical Sciences, the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region in Poznan and Apollogic has been granted the status of Reference Site within the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing. The EIP on AHA certificate confirmed by the European Commission is proof of effective activity for seniors from the Wielkopolska region based on new technologies. With this award, we have joined the group of active regions and centers working for European citizens. Together we create a community contributing to the digital transformation of the health care system.
European Reference Sites are regional organizations, health centers, academia, businesses, government authorities, and NGOs representing older people with a comprehensive, innovative approach to active and healthy aging, creating concrete solutions and promoting good practice.
As part of this initiative, we can draw on the many years of experience of centers dealing with the issue of aging. By obtaining the certificate, we have joined a program aimed at exchanging knowledge in using medical technologies, reducing regional differences, improving the physical and mental condition of older people and increasing their participation in society, as well as raising awareness about healthy aging. Through a systemic approach and working with European partners, we can maximize results, lower the risks associated with investing in innovation, apply for joint European grants (under H2020), and strengthen our position on the international scene.
Reference Sites are a dynamic and inspiring ecosystem providing solutions that have a real impact on improving people’s lives. So far, Reference Sites have created and shared more than 200 innovative and good practices in the digital transformation of healthcare. We believe Apollogic will make a significant contribution to the international partnership through our experience in developing IoT and AI solutions.
