New features and enhancements in SAP Analytics Cloud release for Q2 2022

New features for designers

So far, most of the optimizations have targeted the end-user experience, resulting in Optimised View Mode. This time the SAC developers focused their attention on features that primarily benefit reports and data visualisations creators. The whole improvement were released as Optimized Design Experience. Currently, as soon as users decide to create a new story, they can choose whether to continue their work using the new capabilities or not.

I’m sure that every SAP Analytics Cloud user will be glad to see the new capability to undo and redo performed processes when creating Stories.

It’s also worth noting the handy list of available objects for measures, dimensions, and calculations located on the top taskbar.

In addition, the layout of the Builder panel has been changed at the users’ request.

Also, SAP Analytics Cloud developers are introducing the possibility of converting already existing reports to Optimised Design editing mode.

SAP Analytics Cloud mobile app on Android devices

Among the announced improvements were also new features planned for Android users. In Q2 2022, they gained access to analytical applications via SAP Analytics Cloud mobile app.
