Mandatory KSeF in Poland – a challenge for companies  

As of February 1, 2026, the National e-Invoice System (KSeF) will become mandatory for all businesses in Poland. Invoices structured in XML format will have to be sent to the Ministry of Finance’s central database. What is SAP DRC? 

SAP Document and Compliance Reporting (SAP DRC) is a tool that enables KSeF compliance. It converts data from SAP to XML format and supports communication with the government platform. It allows you to track the status of invoices directly in the system. 

SAP DRC offers common process flow  and mapping of SAP fields to official schema. Based on experience however standard approach does not always fit all. Solutions contains several user exit allowing to adjust operational flow as well as mapping.

1. Determine whether a source type document is relevant for eDocument creation, despite the definition in Customizing.  
2. Fill or change eDocument data after mapping.  
3. Define variable keys – country/region dependent.  
4. Change the eDocument type after standard determination. You can define that the combination of country and accounting document type is valid for 2 eDocument types, instead of for only 1 eDocument type.  
5. Fill value mappings according to your business needs.  
6. Fill fix values according to your business needs.  
7. Restrict the cancellation of source document.
