The customer’s challenge.
The customer is a medical technology company that develops innovative solutions for healthcare professionals and patients. The customer operates in several countries and has a distributed workforce that uses laptops and mobile devices to access company resources and data and needed a solution that will allow them to:
- Securely manage and monitor their devices from a central location.
- Protect their sensitive data from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Provide their employees with a seamless and productive user experience.
The customer was using a traditional device management solution that required manual configuration, shipping, and setup of devices. This process was time-consuming, costly, and prone to errors. The customer also faced challenges in enforcing security policies, updating software, and wiping data from lost or stolen devices. The customer wanted to switch to a cloud-based solution that would simplify and automate their device management and security processes.
The Apollogic’s solution
Apollogic, as a trusted Microsoft partner, proposed Intune as the best solution for the customer’s needs. Apollogic helped the customer to plan, design, and implement Intune in their environment, following the best practices and guidelines from Microsoft.
With Microsoft Intune, the customer was able to achieve the following outcomes:
- Seamless device setup worldwide
The customer could ship devices directly to their employees, without the need for IT intervention. The employees could sign in with their Microsoft credentials and enroll their devices in Intune, automatically receiving the required apps and settings. This process reduced the time and cost of device provisioning and increased user satisfaction. - Efficient remote management
The customer could manage and monitor their devices from a single dashboard, using Intune’s built-in features and reports. The customer could also perform remote actions, such as locking, resetting, or wiping devices, in case of loss, theft, or departure of employees. This process improved the visibility and control of the device fleet and reduced the risk of data loss or compromise. - Enhanced security and compliance
The customer could enforce security policies and compliance rules on their devices, using Intune’s conditional access and compliance policies. The customer could also protect their data from unauthorized access, using Intune’s app protection policies and encryption features. This process strengthened the security posture and compliance status of the organization and ensured the protection of sensitive data. - User productivity boost
The customer could provide their employees with a consistent and user-friendly experience, using Microsoft Intune’s company portal and self-service portal. The employees could access their company resources and data from any device, using the apps they prefer and trust. This process enhanced user productivity and collaboration, and user satisfaction and engagement.
How Apollogic delivered the Microsoft Intune project
Apollogic followed a structured and agile approach to deliver the Intune project for the customer. The project consisted of four phases: assessment, design, implementation, and support.

Apollogic set up the Intune environment and integrated it with the customer’s existing Microsoft 365 services, such as Microsoft Entra, Office 365, and Teams. Apollogic then deployed the Intune solution to the customer’s devices, using the device enrollment methods and the device and app management policies. Apollogic also applied the device and app protection policies, the conditional access and compliance policies, and the reporting and monitoring features, ensuring that the customer’s devices, apps, and data were secure and compliant.
Support phase.
In this phase, Apollogic provided support and maintenance for the Intune solution, resolving any issues or challenges that the customer might meet. Apollogic also ensured that the Intune solution was updated and optimized, taking advantage of the latest features and improvements from Microsoft.
