Research and Development Department opens at Apollogic!

February 1^st was the inauguration of a new R & D Department in Apollogic. The acronym stands for Research and Development. This is an area focused on research and development of new technologies from the viewpoint of checking their potential, as well as business solutions, and their implementation in accordance with market and customer needs.

Research and Development is a common practice in many companies in the world. This trend is also gradually implemented in Polish enterprises. Companies, which opt ​​for such a solution, significantly increase their level of innovation. They are geared towards exploration of new technologies and detection of market niches which require development. What can this approach change in our company?

I would like Apollogic R & D to inspire both ourselves and our customers, so that we could – with passion – tell people what innovative projects we do  at Apollogic. We are fortunate to have been able to attract a lot of proactive and talented staff, experienced in various fields. Now it depends on us what we  shall do with that potential. I believe that we can create the right conditions to become a leading innovator in the region and even nationwide! If the R & D topics are discussed “in the corridor” then I will know that we have been able to build a culture of innovation. We explore new paths, says Maciej Rygielski, Manager of the Research & Development Department in our company.

At Apollogic we have divided R & D activities into two main streams: Proof of Concept (PoC) and Startup. The first one is the result of in-depth market analysis and research needs. On the other hand, startup projects are more focused on vision and finding new, non-standard paths in business.

In our company, we focus on staff initiative. We encourage all our employees to come up with their own ideas for innovation. We look forward to projects which we will put into motion under the new scheme!
