Apollogic is taking over Germany – a new office in Hamburg!

Since September 2016 Apollogic has been building its branch in Germany, a Hanseatic city, Hamburg. The open space office, which has the area of approximately 140 square metres, used to be a loft with wooden bars under the ceiling, which inspires creativity. The office is located in St. Georg district, in the area of which particular cultural diversity is characteristic. Remarkable architecture, a considerable number of bars, cafes and artistic atelier are giving the face to this active district.

A colourful district

At Apollogic, it was our quite deliberate decision to choose this district, from which it takes only a five-minute walk to get to the Central Station. It reflects our culture of the enterprise. We are young, dynamic, we have got crazy ideas and we wish to change the world. Our company employs people from various cultures, with different faces, views and experiences. This is what distinguishes and enriches us.

The Employees

Nearly 10 employees are working permanently in Hamburg and this number continues to rise. We are training students and young graduates in the subjects which they consider to be interesting. It might be SAP CRM, Fiori, Frontend, or newer topics, such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence or Mixed Reality – we support our employees wherever we can.

The exchange

The office in Hamburg is supposed to enliven the exchange between Poland and Germany. All the employees from Poznań might find themselves working in Hamburg and get to know the city. Certainly, it goes the other way round as well.

The spirit of the innovative times

In Hamburg, Apollogic has launched its first spin-off under the name of apoQlar. It deals with the concepts of Mixed Reality and develops business applications for, first of all, Microsoft HoloLens, but also for other Mixed Reality glasses, which will be available on the market soon. Collective cooperation

It is common knowledge that traditions strengthen the community. Our tradition in Hamburg is that at noon we have a meal together at the table. We meet to eat and chat how we spent the weekend, our hobbies, funny stories, etc.
