Update: March 7, 2023.
After public consultations, the Ministry of Finance has unveiled a modified model for the National e-Invoicing System. The effective date of the legislation introducing the mandatory KSeF has been postponed from January 1st, 2024, to July 1st, 2024.
In the last days of August this year, the Council of Ministers accepted a draft amendment to the VAT Act establishing the National System of e-Invoices (KSeF). The draft assumes the obligatory use of e-invoices already in 2023. The Ministry hopes that the introduction of KSeF will significantly facilitate the settlement of trade between entrepreneurs and speed up the detection of attempts to defraud the tax.
The use of e-Invoice (FA_VAT) will allow taxpayers, among other things, to:
✓ receive a VAT refund in 40 days;
✓ resign from issuing duplicates;
✓ not having to store invoices in case of tax control;
✓ exemption from sending JPK_FA.
Currently, at Apollogic, we’re developing a solution to integrate KSeF with SAP systems.
