With the spring update, the SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement product development team has added new functionality to the software to facilitate communication between a company and its customers. In the Spring Release for 2023, the Emarsys system has been enhanced with triggers based on push notification events. With this solution, marketers can create programs that automatically perform marketing operations after a customer’s interaction with a notification.

By utilizing the latest push notification update feature, we can optimize the customer’s attention toward our message. Incorporating push notification updates can be a powerful tool when promoting limited-time offers. As the number of available products decreases, the message’s content will dynamically update, creating a sense of urgency and a stronger incentive to take advantage of the deal.
Similarly, this feature can be leveraged to communicate crucial information, such as changes in order status or a countdown to the end of a promotion. Integration with SAP Customer Data Cloud
Responsiveness is the key to effective marketing communications. Using a new connector with SAP Customer Data Cloud, contacts created in SAP CDC can now be sent in real-time, allowing the for delivery of marketing communications as soon as customer data is obtained. This functionality can be effectively leveraged in scenarios such as sending messages to new users of a website. As a user creates an account, their data passes through SAP Customer Data Cloud and is then automatically transmitted to the SAP Emarsys system via the newly established connection. There, an adequately configured program will send a welcome message to the user.
