SAP Marketing is one of the 5 parts of SAP C/4HANA suite that enables a better understanding of customer needs and responds to them with multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Standard analytical functions
Since the SAP Marketing 1709 version, users have been given access to new analytical functions, which allow for an in-depth analysis of all marketing activities performed. A new application – Analytics and Report Gallery – has been added to the system as an access point to new functions.

This application allows you to display operational reports that provide information from the following areas:
✓ Contacts and Profiles
✓ Marketing Planning and Performance
✓ Lead Management
✓ Marketing Data Analysis
✓ Campaign Analytics
✓ Offer Management
All standard reports use CDS views available in the basic version of the system. At the same time, users can customize reports to their needs, e.g. by creating their own fields, business objects or CDS views.
Why should you consider integration with SAP Analytics Cloud?
In some situations, these functions may not be sufficient. Then it is worthwhile to expand the possibilities of SAP Marketing through integration with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), which gives users access to new reports, so-called analytics stories (ready-made reporting scenarios). In addition, nothing stands in the way of preparing one’s own scenarios and making them available in SAP Marketing.
By integrating with SAC, users have access to two new applications: Marketing Executive Dashboard and Lead Dashboard, which are very complex reports with results prepared in real time.
