SAP cloud strategy – have you already migrated your systems?
The SAP strategy assumes the systematic transfer of the company’s systems to the cloud. Therefore, companies that have SAP ERP/ CRM/ SRM systems or other are already migrating their processes to their cloud-based equivalents. We have prepared an overview of SAP cloud solutions, which you can already implement in your companies.
Migration of corporate systems to the cloud
By 2020, a corporate “no-cloud” policy will be as rare as a “no-internet” policy today.
SAP has also decided to put the cloud at the heart of its strategy. The solution proposed by this company is SAP Cloud Platform. This environment is based on the SAP HANA database, which thanks to the processing of data in the operating memory (in-memory) enables rapid generation of analyses and reports.
The SAP Cloud Platform can be integrated not only with all SAP systems but also with external sources such as the Internet of Things devices.
SAP S4/HANA – ERP in the cloud
SAP S/4HANA is the most modern ERP system available from SAP, to which customers who previously had on-premise solutions can transfer them to the cloud. It covers a wide range of possibilities in the management of enterprise resources. It reflects all the processes implemented by the companies.
S4/HANA integrates not only with other SAP systems, such as SuccessFactors (HR) or Ariba (supply chains and procurement) but also with other external sources. These include the increasingly widespread use of IoT sensors, Big Data, Blockchain technologies and SAP applications.
The structure of the data itself has been notably simplified by the use of the SAP HANA database. This significantly simplifies access to information that does not require time-consuming processing and allows the user to view it in real time.
A benefit that will undoubtedly please many users is the replacement of SAP GUI views with SAP Fiori applications, which are characterized by the maximum simplicity and friendly UX. Thanks to this, instead of browsing through complicated systems, employees can react in real time to problems they are facing.
Processes in SAP S/4HANA are designed to reflect the business reality as closely as possible. This modern cloud-based ERP is versatile and provides access to entirely new, transparent and fast-generated reports.
SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer (C4C)
Customer relationship management in the cloud
The cloud equivalent of the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) is SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer (formerly SAP C4C). It is a response to the growing complexity of sales and customer service processes. Collecting vast amounts of customer information now allows you to use it to improve customer relationships and maintain customer loyalty.
Modern systems, such as C4C, analyze collected information concerning, for example, customers’ interests or purchasing habits, to reach them with an appropriate message, offer right products or adjust sales processes. SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer also guarantees great possibilities of contacting customers, which include for example e-mail communication, social media, Call Centers or even stationary points of sale.
A new dimension of omnichannel marketing with SAP Hybris Marketing
Another Hybris solution dedicated to creating sophisticated marketing campaigns is SAP Hybris Marketing. This tool uses an omnichannel approach to marketing, which involves reaching out to customers in as many places as possible. These include online shops, social media, emails and more. The system has been equipped with tools such as sentimental analysis, thanks to which it can determine the customers’ attitude to the products and companies’ communication.
Another interesting functionality is user segmentation, which allows to divide them into groups and direct to them personalized communication based on their interests and behaviors.
SAP Hybris Commerce – a comprehensive e-commerce solution in the cloud
However, this is not the end of the Hybris product range. The company’s marketing activities can be easily combined with the SAP Hybris Commerce cloud platform supporting e-commerce processes. It allows unifying sales processes in the channels selected by the company. This significantly increases customer satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty.
SAP Hybris Commerce combines all sales channels on a single platform, which allows comprehensively reaching your customers. The system can be adapted to the needs of both B2C and B2B companies.
SAP Ariba – supply chains under control
In turn, SAP Ariba is a cloud solution supporting purchase processes. This largest purchasing platform available on the market supports purchasing processes in a simplified way. The user gains access to the database of nearly 3 million suppliers from all over the world. The Guided Buying methodology embedded in SAP Ariba enables seamless and instant purchases and generation of electronic invoices, which finally enables companies to fully digitize their purchasing processes.
